Cyber System Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Professional for an opportunity that is 100% onsite in Washington, DC.

You will be responsible for operations, maintenance, and integration of the Cyber Intelligence Security Operations Center (CYSOC) cybersecurity infrastructure, platforms, tools, and data.
  • Supporting Vulnerability Management, Information System Security, and Attack Surface Reduction.
  • Maintaining ACAS/Tenable configuration and operational readiness.
  • Conduct scans, coordinates findings and recommendations with Enterprise stakeholders and CTI teams for prioritized remediation.
  • Deploy, run, support and integrate data within a SOC environment using tools such as
  • Participating in special projects or investigations into specific technology or solution issues and research and piloting of innovative technologies.
  • Serving as a point of contact for engineering efforts while aiding in supporting compliance with the customers, and industry, policies, and guidelines.
  • Supplies administrative support to enterprise security devices, including Splunk, Tenable, RedSeal, and other security related tools used to supply layered defense and overall protection.
  • Supplying support of various applications and implementing security standards to customer stakeholders. Helping with configuration, validation of secure complex systems, and testing security products and systems to detect security weakness.
  • Participation in weekly communications and meetings with key stakeholders, to supply status updates on overall tasks and mission essential support activities.
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree and 14 years of experience in a professional work environment or MA, MS, or MBA degree and 12 years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Must have an active Top-Secret clearance
  • Must have a BS or higher degree and DOD IAT Level II certifications (Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Cyber Security, or equivalent experience
