We are seeking a Network Technician for a short-term assignment. All applicants must have an active Public Trust and be willing to travel to the client site. Responsibilities
Coordinate cabling requirements and plan deployments with site owners and scheduling teams.
Install, lay, and organize network cables, ensuring proper bundling and neat routing.
Terminate cables using proper connectors and label all cables per project standards.
Test cables after installation to verify correct termination and provide soft copy test results.
Repair network ends of ethernet cables as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum six (6) years of relevant cabling installation experience.
One or more BICSI credentials required:
BICSI Installer 1 (INST1)
BICSI Installer 2 Copper (INSTC)
BICSI Installer 2 Optical Fiber (INSTF)
BICSI Technician (Tech)
Ability to travel nationwide to FAA locations for scheduled project work.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred
Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one for FAA PIV card issuance.
Prior experience working in federal government or FAA facility environments.
