Various Location, Auburn, Washington, Grand Rapids, MI, Florence, SCWe are seeking a Network Cabling Technican. All applicants must be willing to travel to the client site.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate cabling requirements and plan deployments with site owners and scheduling teams.
- Install, lay, and organize network cables, ensuring proper bundling and neat routing.
- Terminate cables using proper connectors and label all cables per project standards.
- Test cables after installation to verify correct termination and provide soft copy test results.
- Repair network ends of ethernet cables as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum six (6) years of relevant cabling installation experience.
- One or more BICSI credentials required:
- BICSI Installer 1 (INST1)
- BICSI Installer 2 Copper (INSTC)
- BICSI Installer 2 Optical Fiber (INSTF)
- BICSI Technician (Tech)
- Ability to travel nationwide to FAA locations for scheduled project work.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred
- Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one for FAA PIV card issuance.
- Prior experience working in federal government or FAA facility environments.
