We are seeking VMware candidates for an opening in Ogden, Utah.This opening requires USC  with an active Secret clearance. This contract starts off as 8 wees and can go beyond that. 

VMware End User Computing Senior Consultant
Required Skills/Certification/Experience
  • Minimum 6 Years of experience in ESX/Esxi server administration / vCenter/VSphere/ Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Horizon View) / VMWare View role in support of physical and virtual infrastructure hosts.
  • Very good knowledge about Windows OS including Win7/8/8.1, Win2k8 and Win2012
  • Basic Linux and SQL database knowledge
  • Good knowledge about Horizon View manager, View composer and Microsoft Active directory management (L2)
  • Good knowledge about other horizon product including Horizon mirage, and Horizon workspace, Horizon Flex (L1)
  • Knowledge about load balancing technologies and certificates
  • Good understanding about vRealize Operations for Horizon
  • Good understanding about market leading hardware technology (Cisco UCS, HP Blades , Dell Blades, EMC storage, Hitachi , Netapp storages, Fabric connectors etc.)
  • Managing large VDI deployments at scale requires effectively using tools available in customer environment
  • Understanding the backup technologies
  • Holding a VMware Advanced Certification in Data Center Virtualization, Network Virtualization or Cloud Management & Automation (VCP-Desktop at a minimum)
  • ITIL foundation certified or equivalent practical knowledge
  • Active DoD TOP SECRET Clearance
Minimum/General Experience: Has approximately 10 years of experience. Possesses understanding covering the planning, research, development, design, testing, evaluation, production, analysis, and implementation of information systems, programs and equipment. Provides technical assistance to others working on requirements, definition, system requirements analysis, system level design and integration, operations support planning and/or the coordination of the preparation of system development specifications and specialty engineering plans. May be skilled in systems engineering, electrical engineering or industrial engineering activities. Functional Responsibility: Provides supervision, person provides technical or scientific and project support for multiple large-scale projects that cross-cut multiple specialization and product development areas. Applies advanced business and/or technical expertise to assist others with defining, analyzing, validating and documenting complex customer operating environments, states of technology and current engineering processes. Provides advanced technical support to others involved in applying specialized knowledge to complex customer processes and requirements. Supports complex technical investigations through advanced research techniques, analysis or development phases of engineering projects. Works with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of processes to improve quality, reliability, cost customer appeal, and satisfaction. Minimum Education: B.S. in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or applied science.
