Active Directory Administrator

Our client is seeking a Part-Time Active Directory Administrator for an opening in Idaho Falls, ID. This is a 20 to 30 hour per week opening.
The selected candidate shall be a senior member of the Hosting team.  The selected candidate shall be able to:
  • Lead small projects and/or tasks in major projects.
  • Manage multiple tasks or project of increasing scope and risk.
  • Assignments are broad in nature requiring originality and ingenuity; therefore, the selected candidate must be able to work independently and be self-directed.
  • Mentor other staff.
  • Recommend/Design solutions for systems which meet business needs.
  • Estimate time needed for increasingly complex tasks for own work and for small teams.
  • Engage with customers using excellent customer service and communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Document/Track work.
  • Get along well with co-workers.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of the latest versions of Windows OS and Active Directory.
  • Must have experience with multi-factor authentication from at least Window clients.  Experience with multi-factor authentication from Linux and Mac work stations would be a plus.
  • Must be able to manage a complex active directory tree which includes:  multiple domains, multiple trust relationships/types, group policies, OUs, sites, 2-factor authentication, firewalls, enclaves, federated identity (ADFS, Secure Auth, shibboleth), QAS, and various active directory services such as certificates and replication.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix problems throughout active directory with little or no supervision.
  • Must have experience managing Windows 2012 domains.
  • Must be able to:  automate tasks using scripts using PowerShell, ADSI, Python, WSUS, SMS, MOM, etc.
  • Must have experience documenting operational processes.  
  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • No remote work under this procurement.
  • Must be able to obtain a HSPD-12 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12) badge within 6 months of starting position.
  • Must have a Baccalaureate degree and 7 years of experience or 12 years of equivalent experience in Information Technology.
