Objective:
Support the Cybersecurity Engineering organization by driving operational excellence, documentation quality, cross-functional coordination, and customer engagement. This position is responsible for improving engineering processes, maintaining accurate technical documentation, facilitating communication across business units, and ensuring operational consistency. Cybersecurity Engineering Analyst / Technical Coordinator
Objective:
Support the Cybersecurity Engineering organization by driving operational excellence, documentation quality, cross-functional coordination, and customer engagement. This position is responsible for improving engineering processes, maintaining accurate technical documentation, facilitating communication across business units, and ensuring operational consistency. This role does not perform direct system administration or make production system changes.
Primary Responsibilities
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate engineering activities across Cybersecurity Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud, Networking, and external business units.
- Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
- Ensure follow-up on assigned tasks through completion.
- Escalate issues that could impact project schedules or operational performance.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, engineering standards, and operational documentation.
- Ensure documentation reflects current enterprise architecture and approved processes.
- Conduct quarterly documentation reviews and maintain version control.
Network and Enterprise Architecture Documentation
- Maintain current logical and physical network topology diagrams.
- Document enterprise data flows, security boundaries, cloud connectivity, and interdependencies.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure documentation remains accurate following infrastructure changes.
Customer and Stakeholder Relations
- Serve as a primary coordination point for internal customers and business partners.
- Schedule and facilitate technical meetings.
- Track customer requests and ensure timely follow-up.
- Maintain professional communication with government and internal stakeholders.
- Provide regular project status updates and meeting summaries.
Project Support
- Support enterprise initiatives including data center migrations, cloud modernization, security platform enhancements, and technology refresh efforts.
- Maintain project trackers, risk logs, decision logs, and action item registers.
- Coordinate testing schedules, implementation timelines, and post-implementation reviews.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline engineering workflows.
- Recommend improvements to operational processes, documentation standards, and reporting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Cybersecurity Engineering organization.
Additional Duties
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of Cybersecurity Engineering operations, strategic initiatives, customer engagements, documentation efforts, and enterprise projects.

- Complete review of all existing SOPs and engineering documentation.
- Inventory current network diagrams and documentation.
- Establish project tracking and action item reporting.
- Meet with key stakeholders and document requirements.
- Update critical SOPs.
- Publish standardized meeting templates and documentation formats.
- Develop enterprise documentation repository.
- Begin customer satisfaction tracking.
- Complete network topology updates.
- Finalize engineering documentation standards.
- Support enterprise project coordination activities.
- Deliver monthly operational metrics.
- Conduct documentation quality review.
- Validate engineering processes with stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings and follow-up actions.
- Improve project reporting and dashboard accuracy.
- Complete documentation updates for major initiatives.
- Support migration and implementation planning.
- Conduct stakeholder feedback review.
- Ensure project documentation is complete and current.
- Deliver finalized SOP library.
- Complete annual documentation review.
- Present recommendations for operational improvements.
- Transition ongoing documentation and project tracking into steady-state operations.
